Hiya, I’m Jenni – the person behind The Wren Edit.
I run a freelance communications business where I help busy business owners stay visible, organised and sounding like themselves online. Most of the lovely people I support work in children’s activities, but I also work across the third sector in communications and campaigns, so I’m just as happy shaping strategy as I am scheduling your Tuesday Instagram post.
I’ve worked with franchises, licence-model businesses, consultants and growing brands, so I understand how to balance creativity with consistency. I don’t just make things look nice – I help your messaging make sense, your campaigns flow, and your ideas land with the right people.
Basically, if your to-do list is giving you the side-eye, I’m your person.

Communications Virtual Assisitant
I’m Jenni, a Scotland-based communications professional who specialises in telling stories that matter. In my employed role, I lead digital storytelling and communications for an Edinburgh charity. My work centres on smart strategy, engaging content and public communications that show the real impact of inclusive, people-first programmes.
Alongside this, I run The Wren Edit, where I support children’s activity brands (franchises and licence-model businesses) and purpose-led organisations with digital strategy, content creation, writing, website editing and all the behind-the-scenes bits that keep everything ticking. With a background in journalism, PR and marketing, plus years spent living and working abroad, I bring a practical head, a creative eye and a knack for making complicated things feel much simpler.
